"Clear as a crystal with thousands of edges..."*
Grace Larkins is a Reno, Nevada-based designer, artist, mom, and disability advocate. As a graphic designer, Grace takes satisfaction from transforming concepts and data into easily digestible bites. She loves typography, layouts, branding, and finding solutions to spacial problems. As a photographer, Grace plays with abstract, industrial, and nature imagery. Grace has been a performing/recording singer-songwriter since age 15. Always hunting for fresh creative perspective, she recently dove into seasonal color planters (living art) and is exploring pottery (wheel thrown and hand building).
The most defining event of Grace's life is the birth of her wonderful daughter, Lucy (age 8), who has a rare genetic disorder with associated physical and intellectual developmental disabilities. Lucy beats the odds and steals hearts every single day. Lucy Larkins was the inspiration behind the 2022 documentary film, We Love Lucy.
Lucy inspired her mom to seek new ways to help and connect with other families dealing with disabilities, prompting a return to college to round out her toolbox (University of Nevada, Reno, Bachelor of Social Work, 2023). The six core values of the social work profession beautifully embody Grace's personal and professional belief system. Grace also holds a Reiki Master Teacher Certification and a small private Reiki practice in Midtown Reno.
